EJ&E DT-6-6-2000 118
Description:
EJ&E DT-6-6-2000 118 at Joliet, Illinois on February 13, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeilfr. The EJ&E owned the original Baldwin DT-6-6-2000 demonstrator (EJ&E 100) and 25 more production units, out of 46 totgl units built by Baldwin. All except numbers 100 and 118 were rebuilt in the late 1950's, with 10 units receiving new Baldwin model 606A diesels in place of their 606SC's, and 14 went to EMD for installation of 12-567C diesel. Number 118 was reitred in December 1966 and sold to Industrial/Maintenance Service.
