Marianchuk-30th Street. Here is the second of three original photos by an unidentified photographer that were taken near the Pennsylvania Railroad's 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, c. 1953. Prominent here is PRR engine #4803, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electric built by General Electric during June of 1935 and rated at 4,620 horsepower. It's departing the Station with a northbound passenger train. The northern face of the Station is visible in the background.. |
