Here is a photo via Forrest W. Trittenbach. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4024, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during March of 1916 and retired in October of 1956. Note that the main driving rods have been removed in preparation for scrapping. Partially visible at the far left is PRR engine #5267, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata in February of 1916, later converted to an oil-burner, and retired in August of 1955. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Williams Collection. |
