Here is a photo via Forrest W. Trittenbach of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #715, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during September of 1916 and retired in July of 1949. Note that the main driving rods have been removed in preparation for scrapping. Partially visible at the far left is PRR engine #5053, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in October of 1913 and retired in October of 1949. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Williams Collection. |
