Beautiful example of a K-4s 4-6-2 Pacific built by the PRR Juniata Shops in July of 1924. The long steam chest design on this 4-6-2 was shared with 2-8-2's built by Juniata. The loco (serial #3918) lasted until it was retired and scrapped in September of 1956, one of the last K-4's to go. J.R. Quinn photo |
