| I put this rather plain picture in as a lost story about the Soo Line. This set of xing signals was supposed to be placed in downtown Danbury about 5 miles north of here, after a fatal car accident in Danbury finally brought xing signals in. Youd have wondered why someone didnt wonder why there was two sets of heads on the mast, as there was a side road in downtown that they were intended for. Guessing this was a $25,000 or more mistake in the mid 70s when they were put in. |
