Built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1942, the "Meteor" was an overnight passenger train between St. Louis, Tulsa and Oklahoma City. #4501 powered a portion of President Harry S. Truman's whistle stop campaign through Missouri in 1948. She was donated to the museum by Frisco in 1964. |
