| We're looking at the non-cupola end of C&TS caboose 0503, in the C&TS yards in Chama, NM on 7-03-1987. The car has a closed-off front windowm a metal ladder, and a slightly slanted smokejack near the cupola. The car's paint appears to be faded, at least somewhat, but the white lettering is still crisp and clear. I can't tell from this angle if the handrails are bare metal, or painted white, or some other color. |
