You will not find mainline coal trains being led by locomotive consists such as this anymore. Back in the early 1990's it was still possible to get a GE C30-7 on the point leading a unit coal train on the Union Pacific. Here 2533 is on the point of a loaded coal train off thd Utah Railway at Provo along Union Pacific's Provo Subdivision (Now Sharp Subdivision) at the Highway 6 Overpass. |
