Nyman. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of (L to R) Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8587 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #8587 is an ES-15MS steam generator-equipped road switcher constructed in September of 1953. In this context, they're departing a station with a ten-car passenger train. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
