CP 4-6-2 #2403 - Canadian Pacific         
With a full head of steam, Canadian Pacific 4-6-2 #2403 is ready to head out with the freight consist. Built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in October of 1942, the Pacific type steam locomotive was very versatile. It served well for nearly 18 years before being retiredf and scrapped in July of 1960. Original specs - G3a class, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x30" cylinders, 75" drivers, engine weight of 299,000 lb and tractive effort of 42,500 lb. This is a Wm E. Paul photo.
