This was car 139 on the 1975 Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey blue train. It was originally Baltimore & Ohio 16-duplex-roomette/4-double-bedroom sleeper 7104 MOCKING BIRD, built by Budd as a Plan 9536 car in Lot 9658. It was placed in service on 5 June 1954, withdrawn from Pullman lease on 17 July 1969, and sold to Ringling. The car was photographed in the Illinois Central Gulf's Poydras Yard. At that time, the Ringling cars did not wear any reporting mark. |
