Description:  GIO switcher tucks itself in on an old spur at Merriton. It will have a short wait until CN Train 421 passes. That's the (now-drained) Welland Canal just beyond the distant train signals. At bottom far left is the spur the GIO switcher will eventually make its way over to.

Description:  Locomotive # 1859 has been a workhorse for the Trillium Railway for years. Recently, GIO Rail has taken over operations here. # 1859 continues to be on the property as seen here at the GIO Rail (Trillium Railway) Yard, but has not received the GIO Railway’s blue logo as seen on the far right. Also # 1859 is missing its rear knuckle coupler like Trillium Railway’s former locomotive LRRY 108.
